Meet 3 early stage startups that are creating companies to shift the conversation around sex and sexuality with their sex tech innovations.

From lack of data to lack of design, there are many market gaps ripe for the taking in the sex tech industry.

We caught up with three startup founders from the Factory Berlin community with bold visions to take on the sex tech industry’s shortcomings and empower healthier attitudes towards sex and sexuality in the process.

Elevator Pitch: Modality Group is a sex tech research firm. They connect sex product companies to consumers with inclusive market research.

In the last Factory Berlin Masterclass, we invited Stephan Weber, Head of Product at PayFit Germany, to lay out the financial steps necessary to nail employee payroll, from business registration to payroll systems.

Founded in 2016, PayFit has developed its own programming language to standardize and digitize payroll and HR processes for startups and SMEs. The French startup has since raised three funding rounds with a total of €90m and now serves over 4,000 SMEs across Europe.
